In St. Petersburg, people with secondary and secondary specialized education are among the most in demand on the labor market. According to the recruiting portal hh.ru, over the month, employers posted more than 17 thousand new vacancies in the field of “Working Personnel” – 17% of the total volume of open vacancies in 30 days.
Demand for workers has increased by 66% since January, compared with 59% in 2022. The TOP 10 positions include car mechanics and car mechanics, loaders and storekeepers, machinists and mechanics, lathe operators and welders, as well as service engineers. At the same time, there are two resumes per vacancy – market experts assess this situation as a severe shortage of personnel.
On average, salaries range from 66,100 rubles. To increase attractiveness, they promise a voluntary health insurance policy, conditions for career growth and training, corporate and social programs. Shift workers are offered free travel and food, as well as a hostel.
At the same time, much more generous offers can be found for a number of positions. Thus, they are ready to offer mechanics for the repair and maintenance of passenger cars up to 250 thousand rubles per hand, a plumber – the same amount, an electric welder for manual welding – up to 260 thousand rubles, an assembly operator – up to 200 thousand rubles, a stacker driver – up to 194 thousand rubles before taxes.
