Peskov announced plans to analyze the events at Makhachkala airport

The events at Makhachkala airport that occurred last weekend will be analyzed after the investigation is completed in order to minimize or eliminate the risk of their recurrence in the future. Kremlin official representative Dmitry Peskov stated this to reporters when asked about possible organizational conclusions after what happened in Dagestan.

“Of course, the relevant authorities will take investigative actions, and after that, of course, the situation will be analyzed: what is necessary in order to minimize or completely eliminate such illegal manifestations in the future,” said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, TASS reports.

At the same time, he refused to disclose details about specific instructions following a meeting on October 30 with Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing the fact that the event was closed. Journalists suggested that they were talking about taking measures to counter external interference. “You saw the lineup of participants. These are the very people who are responsible for these issues,” Peskov responded to this.

Earlier, Putin said at a meeting on October 30 that the riots that occurred on October 29 at Makhachkala airport due to the arrival of a regular flight from Tel Aviv amid the worsening situation in the Middle East were organized by Western intelligence services through social networks from the territory of Ukraine. In turn, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, ordered the instigators of the riots to be shot after three warning shots were fired into the air.
