Medvedev called Europe an “enemy” of Russia

Almost all EU countries “stood at attention in front of the United States and Britain and obediently began to carry out their instructions to support the Kyiv regime.” This was stated by Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, a post published on his page on the social network.

“The European Union, de facto, is now unable to act independently not only in the international arena, but even in the European field,” Medvedev noted, emphasizing that the EU has squandered its international authority as a mediator in any conflict. “And Europe today, alas, plays the role of an aging whore, meekly fulfilling every whim of the overseas clientele,” added the former Russian president.

He argues that there are no strong world-class leaders left in the EU who can defend the interests of their countries. “They used to be: charismatic, angry, toothy,” added the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council. In his opinion, “Europe castrated itself bloodily and without anesthesia by refusing energy cooperation with Russia.” “It is spoiled or frozen for a very long time,” Medvedev added, also noting that no one can guarantee the residents of Europe that the next winter will not become too cold.

Regarding relations between the Russian Federation and the EU, Medvedev did not see any prospects. “We are now not even neighbors, but real enemies. <…> The European Union has lost Russia as a long-term strategic partner. This doesn’t make us happy, but it’s a fact…” added the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.

He summarized that “Washington cannot escape Russia, China and the countries of the Global South.” “And it makes no sense for us to start a full-fledged conflict with America. But sweet little old Europe will soon be gone,” Medvedev predicted.
