Heroes of the Russian Federation Vladimir Bulgakov, who led military operations in Afghanistan and Chechnya, listened attentively to the young patriots. He rose from lieutenant to colonel-general, from platoon commander to deputy commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces and commander of the military district. Also a guest was Alexander Dzyuba, the former head of air-fire and tactical training, senior pilot of the 325th separate transport-combat helicopter regiment of the North Caucasus Military District. He went through Afghanistan, participated in the Georgian-Abkhaz and Ossetian-Ingush conflicts.

“Lessons in courage have always given young people a good boost. There was a time when they were consigned to oblivion, but today everything is being reborn, which is very gratifying to see, ”said Vladimir Bulgakov, who is also the honorary chief of the Belokalitvin Cossack Cadet Corps. “I am sure that young people who have visited the holy place called“ Sambek Heights ”today will always proudly remember how they honored their heroic fellow countrymen and be proud of their involvement in perpetuating their memory.”

Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Mikhail Korneev met with famous fellow countrymen and cadets who prepared the lesson at the museum – he also took part in a patriotic event. “Friends, we must definitely remember history, study it and be proud of our heroes,” said Mikhail Korneev, addressing the audience. “Together we must celebrate the 80th anniversary of the creation of our Guards Corps. To everyone who is present in the museum today, I convey the words of gratitude to the Governor of the Rostov Region for preparing for the lesson of courage, for participating in it and for co-authorship. “
