JPMorgan charts the end of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022

Analysts at the American JPMorgan Chase Global Research expect the end of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection pandemic and the complete recovery of the global economy in 2022, Axios reports.

As explained by a leading analyst of the bank JP Morgan Marco Kolanovich, “This forecast is due to the achievement of immunity among the population, as well as human ingenuity”, reports RIA “Novosti”.

Recall that on December 8, the creator of Microsoft and one of the richest people on the planet, Bill Gates, made a similar forecast. On his blog GatesNotes, he predicted the end of the pandemic exactly next year.

At the same time, Gates admitted that his previous expectations came true only partially. Previously, he predicted that in 2021 there will be a noticeable improvement in the situation, and in some parameters it has come – millions of people have been vaccinated with vaccines against COVID-19, and the world is in a sense close to normal.

Meanwhile, the number of reported cases of coronavirus infection in the world on Friday morning rose to 268,549,854, according to data from the American Johns Hopkins University.

Since the beginning of the spread of the virus in the world after infection with COVID-19, 5,287,534 people have died, Interfax notes.

We add that in Russia over the past day, 30 thousand 873 new cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 were recorded in 85 regions of the country, follows from the data of the operational headquarters.

“On an accrual basis, 9 million 956 thousand 679 cases (plus 0.31%) of coronavirus infection were registered in 85 regions,” the headquarters said in a statement.

At the same time, over the last day, 1,176 deaths were confirmed, and over the entire period in Russia, 287,180 people died from coronavirus.
