Stas Namin’s stepson Roman Mikoyan (Novikov) “grew up as a cruel person, was convicted and suffered from drug addiction,” TASS reports citing the press service of the Stas Namin Center.
“[Новиков] was never a musician adopted, taking his surname without permission. Novikov arbitrarily changed his middle name to Anastasovich, as if he were the son of Stas Namin. In fact, he was never adopted and from childhood he was distinguished by cruelty and baseness of actions. He was brought in on suspicion of murder several times, had a criminal record, and was addicted to gambling and drugs,” the report says.
Roman is the son from the first marriage of Stas Namin’s ex-wife, Galina Tkachenko (Novikova), from whom the musician has been divorced for more than 15 years, the Center noted. The press service added that Namin did not communicate with her and her stepson for many years, “because she categorically did not approve of his lifestyle and moral principles, which his mother did not notice, justifying him.”
Namin’s murdered son Artem Mikoyan did not interrupt contact with Novikov “due to his inherent kindness,” the Center added.
Let us remind you that on October 19, in the village of Kryukovo in the Istra urban district in the Moscow region, the son and mother-in-law of the famous rock musician, founder of the groups “Gorky Park” and “Flowers” Stas Namin were found murdered. The man detained on suspicion of murder confessed to his crime; the video recording was published by the Moscow region department of the Investigative Committee. In the video, the detainee says that he committed two murders: “my brother and my grandmother.” However, the Investigative Committee did not name the detainee.
