TASS: Israel does not allow the import of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip

Israel does not allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip. RT writes about this with reference to an Egyptian source involved in mediation between Israel and the Palestinian side. According to the Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafez Nofal, the Israeli authorities do not allow humanitarian aid from Jordan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Qatar to pass through, TASS quotes the diplomat.

It is noted that the Rafah checkpoint on the border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip is currently closed.

In addition, there are no negotiations about the abducted and the bodies of the dead. According to agency sources, “Israel is not even talking about it.”

Meanwhile, according to the latest data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, about 2,808 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, and more than 9,700 were injured. At the same time, there are more than 1 thousand bodies under the rubble of buildings in the Gaza Strip. Hospitals in the region are overcrowded.

Let us remind you that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is conducting a military operation in the Gaza Strip in response to the rocket attack on October 7. On this day, the Palestinian movement attacked Israeli territory with hundreds of rockets and captured several settlements. Israel launched a retaliatory operation by blockading the Gaza Strip.
