The debris of a drone shot down over Belgorod fell on a private house, causing a strong fire. Only two people were able to escape from the house engulfed in flames; three more, including a little girl, died, eyewitnesses from the scene said, RT reports.
According to witnesses, “it was like cotton was in the house, because the house was falling into pieces.” According to them, immediately after the UAV fell, a very strong fire started. The roof of a neighboring house was also on fire. At the same time, the ashes after the fire were so spread that “the whole area came to see what had happened: they thought it was snowing,” said witnesses of the emergency.
Only a man and a woman were able to be pulled out of the house, screaming that there were parents and children in the house. They could not be saved – three, including the daughter of the rescued couple and the woman’s parents, died. The couple themselves are now in serious condition in the hospital.
The media notes that the dead girl’s name was Amina, she went to kindergarten. It is preliminary known that the child’s mother Olesya is a candidate of philological sciences, associate professor at BSTU.
