This Sunday the 15th, the future of the country will be decided at the polls with a definition in the presidential elections. Voters are obliged to vote freely, but well informed and responsible, not falling into the deceptions and lies of the election campaign, because this can lead to later regrets, but it will be too late because the spirit of going to de-dollarization and a dictatorial and poverty model like Venezuela

Beyond the final discussion between the finalists, voters have the obligation to distinguish between the proposals, to be well informed, without falling into pre-election deceptions and lies, which offer to solve problems in the short term of a year and a half, amidst the burning problems of insecurity, unemployment, social, economic, institutional weakness , unmanageability, lack of agreement, to which will be added the influence of the El NiƱo phenomenon. The dilemma is: to choose between those who want power to satisfy their ambitions, revenge and impunity for their acts of corruption or to save democracy and seek a better country for their children and grandchildren.

They cannot fall for the deceptions of those who have already ruled and promise the opposite of what they did when they were in power. As for insecurity, they offered an agreement with the US when they removed the gringos from the Manta base and this weakened the country against drug trafficking and organized crime. They weakened the armed forces. and the Police, they destroyed discipline, and now they promise to strengthen it. They allowed irregular armed groups from Colombia to enter the country and allowed the entry of foreigners without checks, good and bad people with criminal records, with the approval of universal citizenship. They made a board with drugs and now they are justifying that it was not for minors, but in practice it seriously affected them.

They promised to solve the Social Security crisis when they did the opposite: they weakened it when they declared that there was no national debt with less, which was a delusion. They abolished 40% of the state’s contribution to the pension fund, which found that almost $6.4 billion had not been paid for three years until the Constitutional Court declared the Labor Justice Act they had approved unconstitutional.

They offer to take 2.5 billion dollars from the monetary reserve that is abroad and does not belong to the government, but is the sacred resources of the clients of the banking and financial system, which in turn are deposited in the Central Bank as bank reserves. In addition, there is money from social security, public institutions and departmental governments. They are in favor of the de-dollarization of the economy and the establishment of the Ecuadorian dollar, while the vast majority of Ecuadorians defend the validity of the dollar.

They offer to hire thousands of doctors for the hospitals, but they do not specify whether they will be foreigners (from the dictatorship of Cuba or Venezuela), as they already did when they were running the country. Because of all of the above, it is an obligation before voting to open your eyes and vote freely, but in an informed, reasoned and responsible manner. (OR)
