Settlements in eight more regions of the Russian Federation also suffered from the rampant disaster, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. Power supply was disrupted in the Pskov, Novgorod, Kursk, Kaluga, Oryol, Tula, Bryansk and Moscow regions.

The wind speed in the regions reached 20 m/s, more than 200 trees fell, loose structures and about 30 cars were damaged, the department specified. It is noted that in the Tula region one person was injured as a result of bad weather.

Emergency Situations Ministry employees continue to work to eliminate the consequences.
