“They are seizing Ukrainians abroad and taking them to fight”: Lukashenko announced a shortage of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters and heavy losses

More than half a million people have already died in the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during a working trip to the Brest region, Belta reports.

“More than half a million have already died in Ukraine. The youth don’t want to fight, they ran away. Now they are not only seizing their own people, but also outside Ukraine (in Poland and other countries) they are seizing Ukrainians and taking them there. Plus mercenaries,” Lukashenko noted, commenting on the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is the conflict now in Ukraine, he added.

According to him, Europe also does not want to fight. It is in her interests that the conflict in Ukraine does not escalate, because it is taking place in a common home. The United States is far away and can sit out across the Atlantic, Lukashenko noted. According to him, it is difficult for Washington only because it has to print dollars around the clock. Inflation is passed on to all other countries that use this currency, the leader of Belarus added.

He added that there is no unity between Europe and the United States. “I’m telling you this for sure, based not only on my analysis, but also on the contacts that I personally had. And not only for me, but for our military and state security,” Lukashenko noted.

He also said that the United States is conducting tests on the territory of Ukraine. “They are experiencing what they need to experience there,” the leader of Belarus noted, but did not provide details.

Earlier, Lukashenko announced that the Belarusian army was on full combat readiness.
