Georgy Domolaev, inspector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Ryazan District of Moscow, who managed to detain the man who opened fire at the Ryazansky MFC, shared the details of what happened that day.
According to him, that day he was at work – his department is located on the first floor in the right wing of the MFC administration building, REN TV reports. Hearing the characteristic pops and sounds of the alarm, Domolaev went out into the common corridor and noticed a suspicious man “in an orange jacket, who was heading for the exit with a brisk pace.”
The policeman noted that the stranger had not seen the weapon at that moment, but suggested that he might have it with him. As a result, the law enforcement officer caught up with the unknown on the street, knocked him to the ground, using fighting techniques. “At that moment I saw a pistol and a knife with him. The attacker tried to use the available weapon, but I, using physical force, stopped his attempts, “- said the policeman, adding that” the events were happening rapidly. ”
Domolaev noted that he held the suspect while eyewitnesses called the police. “There was no fear. There was only one thought in my head – to do everything clearly, ”admitted the policeman, whom the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kolokoltsev decided to present for a state award.
A court in Moscow the day before arrested a shooter from the MFC, who turned out to be a 45-year-old resident of the capital, a former military man Sergei Glazov. He was charged on three counts.
Recall that Glazov staged the shooting at the MFC on December 7, two people were killed, four were injured.
