Orban: EU authorities “raped” Hungary and Poland by imposing agreement on migration

Brussels has legally “raped” Hungary and Poland by imposing a migration package on them, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told reporters. He posted a video of this remark on his page on social networks.

“There is no chance for compromise or agreement on migration. This is politically impossible. Not today, but in general, in the coming years. Because legally, so to speak, we were raped. And if we are raped, that is, forced to accept something that we do not like, where does compromise or agreement come from? – said Orban.

He stressed that Hungary will adhere to an uncompromising position on illegal migration and will not support the EU plan to resettle migrants in the union countries, RBC reports. “There will be no compromise on migration. Not today, not in the coming years. We will protect our borders from both migrants and Brussels bureaucrats,” Orbán wrote.

Earlier, on October 5, Polish Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Maciej Wonsik said that illegal migrants are deceiving “stupid, politically correct Europe” in order to flee to Germany. According to him, in 2023, more than a thousand people “deceived the European system of international protection” in this way, and the German authorities are “finally starting to notice the problem” that they themselves created. As a result, sooner or later Berlin will return these people to Poland, and Warsaw will have to deal with them, Wonsik concluded.
