US creates a new structure for studying UFOs and assessing threats to national security

A new structure will be created in the United States to study cases of the appearance of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and assess such threats to the national security of the country. This was stated by Democratic Senator from New York State Kirsten Gillibrand.

She clarified that the new structure will replace the US Navy’s Task Force on Unidentified Air Phenomena, formed back in 2020, RBC reports.

The new entity will be given access to UFO data from the intelligence community and the DOD to provide a “coordinated” response.

We also recall that on November 24, 2021, it became known that the Pentagon has reorganized its special group dealing with tracking unidentified flying objects. It will be called AOIMSG – Aerial Objects Approach Identification and Synchronization Group.

As the US Department of Defense said at the time, the army “takes reports of any airspace invasion of any flying objects, both identified and unidentified, very seriously, and is investigating each of them.”
