Simonyan reported that an attack drone fell near her house in Adler

Editor-in-chief of Russia Today TV channel, editor-in-chief of MIA “Russia Today” Margarita Simonyan

The drone shot down in Adler fell near the house of RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan. She herself reported this on Telegram.

According to Simonyan, the drone crashed in front of the house where she grew up. Now her relatives live there.

“Tonight, an attack drone fell right in front of our family home in Adler, where I and my mother grew up, and where my relatives and their small children still live. The goals are getting further, the stakes are getting higher, the nuclear ultimatum is becoming more and more uncontested,” Simonyan wrote.

Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a Ukrainian drone was shot down over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, but did not specify where exactly. Simonyan wrote that the drone fell at night, but the military department indicated that the device was shot down at about 8:00 Moscow time.

This summer, the FSB announced that it had foiled an assassination attempt on Margarita Simonyan and Ksenia Sobchak. It was noted that the security service, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee, uncovered the preparation of the murder of the mentioned persons, allegedly on instructions from the Security Service of Ukraine. 8 people were arrested, including minors. In Kyiv they declared their non-involvement in the incident.
