According to him, when a person has a weapon, he has “a completely different feeling.” “You feel more protected,” the head of the National Security and Defense Council added, noting that weapons must be handled carefully and there must be certain rules.
Earlier, Danilov gave advice to the West on how to support Ukraine. In his opinion, the authorities of countries supporting Ukraine should develop and implement a set of measures to level out “fatigue” from the conflict in Ukraine. He added that it is necessary to enshrine in the legislation of the countries participating in the coalition in support of Ukraine the obligation to provide support to Kyiv in the “long term.” Danilov also demanded that Western countries undertake to promote all points of the “peace formula” of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. The head of the National Security and Defense Council also added that the reluctance of the West to transfer modern weapons to Kyiv and the practice of “dosing out military assistance” do not allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to achieve the desired goals.
