The Russian President held a meeting with the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. The meeting took place in the Kremlin, the transcript was published on the president’s website.
As noted, Kadyrov reported that the Chechen detachment was making progress at the front – “every day they are taking prisoners, every day they are destroying equipment, the fighters have a good spirit.” According to him, “since the beginning of the Northern Military District, the republic has already purchased 1,100 vehicles, of which about 100 are armored vehicles.” The region also helps other regions, Kadyrov added.
Putin, in turn, assessed the socio-economic indicators of the region. He noted that overall the dynamics are positive. “This is largely thanks to you, your team – people work confidently – and good interaction with the government of the Russian Federation,” the president added.
A video greeting Putin and Kadyrov was also published by journalist Pavel Zarubin.
Earlier, Ukrainian media, citing Andrei Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reported that Kadyrov was allegedly in serious condition due to an exacerbation of existing illnesses. It was reported that he was in a coma and even allegedly died in the Central Clinical Hospital of the Administration of the President of Russia, RIA Novosti wrote. In response to this data, Kadyrov published a video of a walk in the rain, and in the video he advised those “who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the Internet to take a walk in the fresh air and put their thoughts in order.”
