From 08:00 to 19:00 this Friday, December 10, the pumping and distribution of drinking water from the Cuatro Esquinas de Portoviejo treatment plant will be suspended for the entire population that receives the service in the capital of Manabi.
The reason for the suspension of the liquid supply is due to the maintenance of the raw water catchment channel of the treatment plant, in order to prevent any problems with the arrival of the winter season.

Xavier Solís, head of operations of the Cuatro Esquinas treatment plant, highlighted the work of the staff of the Portoaguas municipal public company, as well as of the Manabí Prefecture and other entities, to carry out the maintenance of the canal.
It is expected that the water service will resume from 19:00 this Friday to the populations located in the lower sectors of Portoviejo, while for the high and peripheral areas the provision of the liquid will begin to be distributed in the early hours of the morning and tomorrow. Saturday 11. (I)
