“Kommersant”: Glazov said he shot in the Moscow MFC at “those who believe in coronavirus”

A resident of the capital, Sergei Glazov, who killed two people as a result of the shooting in the Moscow MFC, explained his act.

According to Kommersant, according to the shooter, who was interrogated by the investigators, he needed military weapons to protect himself from “a criminal society generated by a fictitious coronavirus infection.” Glazov claims that he shot at other people who did not participate in the conflict because of the mask, believing that they also “believe in the coronavirus infection.”

It all happened on the afternoon of December 7 at the Ryazansky multifunctional center, where Glazov came by bicycle to get a new passport in connection with his 45th birthday. After an employee of the MFC asked him to wear a mask, the suspect sprayed gas from a canister into his face, and then shot him point-blank with a pistol. Then Glazov shot the guard and wounded four more people.

The court in Moscow today will choose a measure of restraint for him. It is known that Glazov will be sent for a psychiatric examination. Eyewitnesses reported that the man was inadequate and, after his arrest, repeated about “a world conspiracy due to a pandemic.”

Earlier, the media reported that a large sum in rubles and foreign currency was seized from the shooter.
