The man who was shot on a synthetic pitch had a reserved prognosis. He was later taken to another hospital outside of Esmeraldas.

With a reserved prognosis was Paulo CB, 41, after being shot by strangers while participating in a football match.
The attack took place on a synthetic sports field in Arenanga, Nuevo Quinindé sector, in Quinindé canton, central Esmeraldas province. It happened around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7.
Friends of the victim told the National Police that individuals who arrived in a vehicle entered the field and fired several shots with a firearm.
At the level of the thorax, the abdomen and the back area were the areas where the shots hit Paulo.
The man was rushed to the Alberto Buffoni hospital, in Quinindé, but due to his health situation he was transferred to another sanatorium outside the province of Esmeraldas.
Criminalistics agents investigate this new attack.
Foreigner was killed in Santo Domingo
A citizen of Venezuelan nationality, known as Érick, was killed by a gunshot to the head.
It happened in the 25 de Diciembre neighborhood, in the Plan de Vivienda cooperative, in Santo Domingo, at dawn on Tuesday the 8th.
The victim was left on the sidewalk of a street in that sector, next to a public lighting pole.
Dinased police officers undertook investigations and Legal Medicine transferred the body to the Forensic Center of Tsáchila province. (I)
