Citizens want the presidential candidates to present their proposals in the field of health, security and economy; as well as how they plan to enable them. (OR)

The topics that should be covered are the following:

The first thing that all citizens are looking for is security. Second, increasing attention to health and safety in educational institutions. Third, urgently solve the supply of medicines and equipping health centers. And finally insist on sanctions for drivers in the country, it is unimaginable that buses and articulated vehicles do not respect pedestrians, even when they are walking zebras. (OR)

The priority issues that the presidential candidates must deal with in their campaigns for the second round should be: the fight against crime and corruption that have sown insecurity in the country, in order to guarantee peace and the development of activities in general; and the payment of the national debt to IESS, in order to ensure the attention that the branches need.

Furthermore, it would be interesting for them to try to comply with the Law on Consumer Protection, so that in this way they could control the prices of food and products that are practically unaffordable for people who see an urgent need to provide their family with what is essential for continued survival. Candidates have to deal with many different topics, for example family and gender ideology. But first they must be honest with the electorate, not appear as demagogues, because they would have very little time, there is no money, and without money there is no public work.

They must offer three or four issues to be resolved, the priority ones such as the fight against insecurity, but not lukewarm, but very strong. In the field of healthcare, a large percentage of medicines must be supplied by the entire public system. Economically, first the macroeconomic part must improve the fiscal deficit. This is a very delicate point that needs to be thoroughly resolved because subsidies should be abolished, even though it sounds unpopular.

In short, offer what they can achieve, detailing “how they would do it”, not superficial. Most of the undecided analyze and understand whether their offers are realistic or demagogic. And this campaign is aimed at this conglomerate. (OR)
