UEFA will assign Russia 4,333 points in the coefficient table for the 2023/2024 season
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) answered the question about Russia’s position in the coefficients table. Information is provided on the organization’s website.
“At the end of the 2023/2024 season, Russia will be awarded the lowest number of points earned over the last five seasons, that is, 4,333 points for the men’s association club coefficient and 1,750 for the women’s association club coefficient,” the statement said.
Before the start of the 2023/2024 season, Russia dropped seven places and took 25th place, with 18,632 points. At the moment, Russia is in 26th place. This is the worst figure in history.
On February 28, 2022, the International Football Federation (FIFA) and UEFA excluded Russian national teams and clubs from international tournaments.
