A nutritionist told how to eat breakfast correctly so as not to gain weight

You should start your morning with a proper breakfast to lay a good foundation for the whole day. Nutritionist Olga Malyarova spoke about the importance of the first meal, writes MedicForum.

According to the doctor, if you don’t have breakfast, you will have no energy, and the feeling of hunger will accompany you all day – the person will eat it, which will lead to gaining extra pounds.

However, you also need to eat breakfast wisely, Malyarova noted, emphasizing that many people in a hurry eat or drink for breakfast something that can lead to obesity. For example, you should not drink sugary juices or smoothies, as crushed fruits contain many calories.

Also, do not eat ready-made muesli mixtures or fruit yoghurts – they contain additives that are harmful to health and lead to obesity.

The doctor also advises avoiding sweet baked goods made from white flour – they contain simple carbohydrates that will not keep you full for long. She noted that protein is needed in the morning to keep you full for a long time and fuel your muscles. Cottage cheese is ideal for breakfast, Malyarova added.

In addition, she also recommended not having breakfast too late. A shift several hours later than usual leads to a deterioration in metabolism and obesity, since cells are programmed to break down food after certain periods of time. If the usual schedule is shifted, then they do not have time to readjust and begin to accumulate fat, the media notes, citing scientists.
