Quito is filled with music with the Ecuador Jazz Festival 2023

The largest party of jazz in our country will return to Quito from 14 to 24 September for the eighteenth time, a city that will once again resonate and vibrate with all the energy and rhythm of this musical genre and artistic expression that was born in the United States at the end of the 19th century. The city creates a unique space to enjoy music and art at its best while also trying to promote Ecuadorian talent to foster the growth of the national jazz scene.

These are Ali Lema, Andrey Astaiza: Chonta Madre, Bjarke Lund Trio, Daniela Amondarain Grupo, El Dolor: Santiago Sandoval and Lizbeth Badaracco, Forgotten Arm: Nick Jost and Andrés Benavides, Gandhy Rubio Ensemble, Jenny Villafuerte, Rebecca Chubay Quartet and Szymanski- Blanchard-Sebastia Hard Bop Project.

But in addition to sounds, melodies and harmonies, this festival focuses on making visible the cultural and musical diversity generated by the music jazz as a point of origin not only in the country, but also as its significance worldwide.
