A company of eight people could be washed away by a stream of water and dragged underground for a distance of about two kilometers, Life noted.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case. The tour organizer is being questioned by investigators. On the eve it was reported that one of the organizers of the deadly excursion in the underground sewers of Moscow managed to leave Russia. According to REN TV, Alexander Kim, CEO of Sputnik, and Alexander Lazovsky, CEO of Avangard, were put on the wanted list in a high-profile case. The latter escaped from the Russian Federation and is presumably in the UAE, the TV channel reports. At the same time, Kim may be in St. Petersburg. The Sputnik company, which offered tickets for a dangerous tour of Moscow’s underground sewers, had no official registration. At the same time, the organizers of underground tours could not be unaware of the risks to which they exposed their customers. Also, the underground tours of the Sputnik company were not coordinated with the municipal services of Moscow.
