The Chinese Foreign Ministry reacted harshly to information about Russian supplies of Chinese products, which are allegedly used for the production of weapons.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said his country “takes a cautious and responsible stance on issues related to arms exports.”
“We are against individual media outlets engaging in falsification and spreading malicious slander,” the official said at a briefing, TASS reports. This is how he answered the question of a Ukrainian journalist who referred to Western media reports allegedly about the supply of Chinese products, which Russian defense companies allegedly use in the production of helicopters and drones.
Wang Wenbin also stressed that China maintains trade and economic contacts with all countries, including Russia, and seeks to restore dialogue to resolve the Ukrainian issue.
Earlier, Chinese consul Chen Borui allowed the abolition of visas for Russians.
Recall that recently the Iranian Foreign Minister denied the information about the supply of drones to Russia.
