The department noted that Ukraine made an attempt to strike at the Crimea with a missile of the C-200 complex. It was destroyed by means of air defense, the report says. No one was hurt, there is no damage, it is noted there.

The Ministry of Defense noted that an attempt was made to deliver a terrorist strike on the Crimean bridge with an anti-aircraft guided missile S-200, converted into a strike version. Also, two missiles were shot down in the area of the Kerch Strait. On the night of August 12, Crimea was also attacked by drones. The military repelled the attacks of 20 Ukrainian drones.
Previously, Crimea was repeatedly attacked by drones. On August 4, the Russian military repelled the attacks of 13 drones, and on July 30, when trying to attack objects on the peninsula, 16 aircraft-type UAVs were destroyed by air defense systems, nine more were intercepted by electronic warfare systems. On July 24, Crimea was attacked with the help of 17 drones – all drones were suppressed or destroyed.
