The Ministry of Justice included seven people on the list of foreign agents, including writer Linor Goralik and economist and former presidential adviser Andrey Illarionov.
Public figure Vladimir Dovdanov, political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky, public figure Sardylana Kondakova, human rights activist and former member of the HRC Sergei Krivenko and writer Tatyana Sotnikova also added to the list. All of them, except for Illarionov, are charged by the ministry with “opposing the NVO.”
In addition, Goralik, according to the Ministry of Justice, “spread unreliable information about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities and the actions of the Russian army” and “carried out propaganda of LGBT relations, which is contrary to state policy to preserve and strengthen traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, as well as constitutional priorities in the field of family protection, motherhood and childhood” and participated in fundraising in support of Ukraine.
Illarionov “took part in the dissemination to an unlimited circle of people of messages and materials of foreign agents, as well as unreliable information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies.” “I participated as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign media. Lives outside the Russian Federation,” the press release says.
