New details have appeared in the case of the murder of a six-year-old boy Daler in Yekaterinburg. According to the Ural Mash Telegram channel, Veronika Naumova, the guardian accused of murder, was placed in a psychiatric hospital.
She will spend the next month in the hospital. There will be a psychological and psychiatric examination. Experts will answer whether the woman was aware of her actions, whether there are signs of serious mental disorders in which a person is not subject to criminal liability, E1.RU writes, citing a source close to law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, Naumova was charged with murder, child abuse and fraud. According to investigators, the boy died in December last year. His body was found in a bag in Naumova’s garage six months later. The body was so decomposed that the examination could not determine the cause of death of the child. At the same time, there were no fractures on the bones. According to preliminary data, the child died after being beaten with a shoehorn. Naumova herself claims that she loved her adopted son and did not get rid of the body because of her strong attachment.
