“There was an attempt to fly over the city of two combat drones. Both shot down by air defense. One in the Domodedovo area, the second in the Minsk highway area, ”the mayor wrote. According to him, there is no information about the victims of the fall of the wreckage. Emergency services are on site.
The Mash Telegram channel writes that one of the drones was shot down in the Odintsovo district. Residents of Moscow reported hearing loud noises in the Lefortovo area, writes RBC.
The destruction of two drones was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense. According to the agency, an attempt by Ukraine to carry out an attack by drones was thwarted over the territory of the Moscow region. As a result of the thwarted terrorist attack, there were no casualties or damage, the Ministry of Defense specified in Telegram.
Recall that recently attempts to attack drones on Moscow and the region have become more frequent. Earlier, on August 6, a drone was shot down in the Podolsky district of the Moscow region, and on July 30 and August 1, drones attacked the Moscow City complex.
