Who gets vaccinated
- People over 18 years of age who completed their scheme and were 6 months after the second dose was applied.
- The process includes those who received the complete schedule with vaccines available in Ecuador and those who received vaccines of a type not available in the country (they were inoculated abroad).
- Those who completed the vaccination schedule with Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Sinovac will receive a booster dose of AstraZeneca after six months.
- In the case of those who received the CanSino single-dose, they will also receive it in six months.
- People who for any reason have not received the first or second dose can also go to the vaccination centers, especially children between 5 and 17 years old and young people between 18 and 24 years old.
- The coronavirus vaccine is free.
