Traces of explosives were found on a dry cargo ship in the Kerch Strait, as well as signs of third-party interference in the structural parts of the vessel. This was reported to the FSB of Russia.
It is clarified that the dry cargo ship was going from Turkey to load grain in the port of Rostov. According to the service, at the end of May the ship was in Ukraine. “It was established that at the end of May the ship was in the Ukrainian port of Kiliya. In July, in the Turkish port of Tuzla, a complete change of the ship’s crew, consisting of 12 citizens of Ukraine, was carried out, and the name of the dry cargo ship was changed, ”the secret service said, quoting RBC.
According to the FSB, there were changes in the design of the ship and it could be used to transport explosives to Ukraine. As a result, the ship was banned from passing under the Crimean bridge.
It is noted that the incident occurred on July 22.
Recall that on July 17 there was an attack on the Crimean bridge, at the same time Russia withdrew from the grain deal. Moscow has declared a number of areas in the northwestern and southeastern parts of the international waters of the Black Sea temporarily dangerous for navigation.
