The Belgorod region bordering Ukraine was subjected to massive shelling. According to the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his Telegram channel, dozens of shells were fired at residential areas.
Thus, 4 artillery shells landed in the village of Nekhoteevka in the Belgorod region, 15 in the village of Zhuravlevka. Two grenades were dropped from the UAV in the village of Naumovka. The outskirts of the village of Bogun-Gorodok in the Borisovsky district were fired from a mortar – two arrivals were recorded. And in the territories of the farms Lozovaya Rudka and Klimovoye, an agricultural field with wheat owned by one of the agricultural companies caught fire. According to Gladkov, the causes of the fire are being established.
He added that in the Valuysky urban district, 4 artillery shells were fired at the village of Kukuevka, and two mortar shells were fired at the village of Novopetrovka. In the village of Verigovka, one unidentified explosive device was dropped from a drone. Also, the Babka farm was fired from barrel artillery – 13 arrivals were recorded, as a result, three private households were damaged: windows were broken, roofs, a utility building and a fence were cut. A power line was damaged by shell fragments.
The village of Shamino in the Shebekinsky urban district also came under artillery fire – 8 arrivals were recorded. As a result of the shelling, 5 people were injured – all had shrapnel wounds. 6 mortar shells were fired at the village of Leninsky, 3 mortar shells and one artillery shell at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, 8 mortar shells at the village of Terezovka, 3 mortar shells at the Maryino farm, and 7 artillery shells at the Shebekino checkpoint.
In addition, the village of Dronovka in the Graivoronsky urban district was attacked by a kamikaze drone, and in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, the outskirts of the village of Popovka were fired from a grenade launcher, the governor added.
