Russia struck targets in Ukraine where terrorist attacks were being prepared against Russia using unmanned surface vehicles, as well as fuel infrastructure facilities. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the military of the Russian Federation struck a shipyard in Odessa, where Ukraine was preparing surface drones, as well as warehouses with fuel intended for the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Nikolaev and Odessa. Also, strikes were inflicted on a shipyard in the Odessa region, where unmanned boats were manufactured. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Defense, in the area of ​​​​the cities of Nikolaev and Odessa, fuel storage facilities with a total volume of about 70 thousand tons were destroyed, from which military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was supplied with fuel.

At the same time, the Russian defense department described its actions as “a group strike of retaliation against facilities where terrorist acts against the Russian Federation were being prepared.”

Earlier, the authorities of Odessa reported a missile strike. It was noted that the port infrastructure was damaged. Also, the authorities of Nikolaev noted that at night “there was a hit in an industrial facility”, after which a fire started. On the night of July 18, an air alert was announced twice in Ukraine.

Recall that on July 17, the Crimean bridge was attacked. The NAC of the Russian Federation reported on the attack of Ukrainian surface drones filled with explosives. Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to respond to the undermining of the bridge.
