In the Rostov region, measures are being taken to streamline the traffic of cars traveling to and from Crimea by land route through new Russian regions, the regional governor Vasily Golubev said in his Telegram channel.
“I instructed the Ministry of Transport and other services to quickly organize traffic administration in order to minimize inconvenience for motorists,” he wrote.
In turn, the Ministry of Transport of the Rostov Region reports that the sale of tickets for bus flights from Rostov-on-Don to Crimea has been suspended. The department clarified that the sale of tickets to Crimea will resume after the approval of alternative routes through new regions.
Recall that at night the Crimean authorities reported an “emergency” in the area of the 145th pillar of the Crimean bridge and the suspension of traffic on the bridge, as well as the ferry crossing, the details of the incident have not yet been disclosed. Residents of the peninsula and tourists were asked to choose an alternative overland route. The Ministry of Transport reported that there is damage to the roadway on the spans of the bridge from the Crimean side. “The structures of the spans themselves are on their supports,” the department noted.
Later, the NAC reported that the partial collapse of one span of the Crimean bridge was due to an attack by Ukrainian drones. A criminal case has been opened about the terrorist attack.
