Several hundred fighters of PMC “Wagner” arrived on the territory of Belarus. This was stated by State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, Deputy Coordinator of the Polish Special Services Stanislav Zharin, RBC reports.

“The Wagner Group is present in Belarus. The first fighters have arrived, there may be several hundred of them now. The Polish services are monitoring the situation to find out how many Wagnerites will eventually end up in Belarus, ”said Zharin.

He added that, according to Polish intelligence, the arrived PMC fighters had already settled in field camps and began to train Belarusian servicemen.

Earlier, the Belarusian media reported on the training of the Belarusian military units of the territorial troops with the fighters of the Wagner PMC. It was noted that instructors from PMCs explain to soldiers how to act in the conditions of protection of various objects – industrial enterprises, power plants.

Recall that on June 23, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced a “march of justice” against Moscow. PMC fighters crossed the border, established control over military facilities in Rostov-on-Don and entered several Russian regions with military equipment and weapons. The authorities of the Russian Federation called Prigozhin’s actions an armed rebellion. The situation was resolved on June 24 through the mediation of Alexander Lukashenko. Under the terms of the agreement, Yevgeny Prigozhin must leave for Belarus. After that, the Russian authorities dropped the criminal case on the rebellion and promised not to prosecute the PMC fighters.
