Mikhail Ginzburg, doctor of medical sciences, nutritionist and psychotherapist, stated in his video blog on the Yandex.Zen platform about the connection between poor health and illness with stress and negative thoughts. He explained that any disease has a psychotherapeutic or psychosomatic component.

“It’s not just that they say that all diseases come from the head,” Ginzburg pointed out. He added that if a person thinks in a negative way, his mood becomes bad, sometimes even depressive, and his behavior becomes ineffective. This system also works in the opposite direction: if something does not work out, the mood deteriorates.

So, if the emotions are good, then the brain works in the right rhythm, if the emotions are bad, the body tries to protect itself from this, throwing out hormones – adrenaline, cortisol.

“This leads to an increase in blood sugar levels, insulin“ jumping out ”and then insulin-like growth factor,” the expert explained. As a result, this leads to a violation of eating behavior, the risks of developing atherosclerosis, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, and cancer increase. Strokes and heart attacks can happen. Negative-minded people are also more likely to get colds, any illness they have is more severe, the doctor said.
