They note that it is desirable to abandon instant cereals, which contain a huge amount of sugar and are processed into fat. Also, cereals do not saturate, which increases the number of snacks.
The list of bad foods also includes smoked meats. In the morning it is better to refuse sandwiches with smoked sausages, salmon or bacon. Such food causes heaviness, takes a long time to digest, can cause spasms, lead to the development of gastritis and even hormonal disruptions, experts warn.
Also, according to them, sweets are not followed in the morning – after waking up, there is too little insulin in the body to digest sweet food. For example, it is advisable not to eat bananas on an empty stomach so as not to disturb the calcium-magnesium balance.
Raw vegetables and fruits are also harmful on an empty stomach. They contain a lot of acid, which irritates the stomach and its mucous membranes. For the benefit of the body, it is better to eat them after the main meal, nutritionists advise.
