Registration will be enabled from December 3 to 8.
As of this Friday, the National Police will start with the registration process for aspiring police officers (officers) and operational technicians (classes and police) for the period 2021-2022.
Last Monday details were given of the process that those over 18 years of age may participate in at the national level. The institution clarified that it does not have any agreement with both civilians and police, either in active and passive service as preparation or health centers to guarantee space or admission.
“No public official is in the capacity to offer places to enter,” he said in a statement.
The process will last around four months and it is expected that the selected applicants will already be available to open.
In total there are 2,205 places available, which are divided as follows:
- 180 for officers (25 for women and 155 men).
- 2,025 for classes and policemen (285 for women and 1,740 for men).
Requirements to be met by aspiring police officers 2021-2022
- Be Ecuadorian by birth or naturalization.
- Be at least 18 years old and a maximum of 22 years, 11 months and 30 days from the date of registration.
- Minimum height for men is 168 centimeters and for women it is 157 centimeters.
- Have a bachelor’s degree, if it is from abroad, it must be approved by the corresponding entity.
- Not having been discharged, dismissed, separated or dismissed from the Armed Forces, National Police or any of the entities regulated by the Organic Code of Citizen Security and Public Order Entities for any circumstance; except for the voluntary request.
- Not having been discharged, dismissed, separated or dismissed from the schools or training centers of the Armed Forces, National Police or any of the entities regulated by the Organic Code of Citizen Security and Public Order Entities for any circumstance; Except for the voluntary request or force majeure.
- Not having received an enforceable conviction for any crime.
- Do not register pending criminal judicial processes.
- Not having received an enforceable conviction for crimes or offenses in matters of domestic or gender violence.
- Have a qualifying mark in the entrance exam to higher education or the equivalent to the admission exam to higher education institutions in force at the time of application, with a score of 800 for aspiring managers and 750 for operational technicians.
- Not having incurred in the breach of the duties and responsibilities as Ecuadorians established in the Constitution.
- You will not owe two or more alimony.
- Not be affiliated with any political party.
- Not being immersed in some disabilities contemplated in article 34 of the Organic Code of Citizen Security and Public Order Entities that was applicable in the recruitment process.
