Lawyer Alexander Nemov and journalist Yelena Milashina, who were attacked in Chechnya, will be transported to Moscow by charter. As the Ombudsman in North Ossetia Tamerlan Tsgoev told RIA Novosti, the victims are now in the RCH.
“It seems that he (Alexander Nemov – ed.) confirms that there will be a board, but this is not a board of the Ministry of Emergencies, but some kind of charter,” Tsgoev said.
The Ombudsman added that the doctors did not find contraindications for the flight among the victims.
Earlier, Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, said that she applied to the Investigative Committee and the Chechen prosecutor’s office in connection with the beating of Milashina and Nemov. The leadership of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for Chechnya to conduct an inspection and submit a report on the fact of the attack.
In turn, Vladislav Grib, Chairman of the Russian Bar Association Commission on Advocacy, proposed creating a working group to coordinate the actions of state and public organizations on the attack on Nemov and Milashina. According to him, the Commission is “deeply outraged and concerned” by the attack on lawyer Alexander Nemov and journalist Elena Milashina in connection with their professional activities.
