The nutritionist called the five products needed in the diet in the fall

Nutritionist Irina Yablonskaya told what five foods are needed in the human diet in the fall. According to Belarus Today, the doctor noted that in autumn a person’s diet should contain as many vitamins as possible, which will help increase the body’s defenses and protect against colds.

First of all, the doctor recommended eating apples, which contain vitamins A, C, B1, B2, PP and E, as well as magnesium, phosphorus, iodine, iron, selenium, potassium, calcium and zinc. “In general, it is enough to eat 100 g of apples a day. Now, during the period of their harvest, you can eat 300 g. It’s not worth eating more. They interrupt the appetite, and there will be a replacement of protein products necessary for a person with fruits, ”the nutritionist noted.

Yablonskaya also advised to include Bulgarian pepper in the diet. This product is rich in vitamins C, B1, B2, B9, P, PP and carotene, therefore it is especially useful for people suffering from depression, diabetes, as well as memory impairment, insomnia and loss of strength.

It is also important to eat prunes – according to Yablonskaya, they are rich in fiber, organic acids and pectins. In addition, it contains vitamins of groups E, PP, B, C and important trace elements (calcium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, magnesium, iron, iodine, cobalt, zinc, copper).

And don’t forget the onion. “Onions are rich in vitamin C, flavonoids, quercetin, phytoncides, enzymes, saponins, mineral salts of potassium, phosphorus, iron, etc. Onions also have antiviral, antibacterial, antihelminthic, antifungal, disinfectant properties,” the specialist noted.

Finally, the nutritionist considers it important to add parsley root to the diet. According to her, it contains vitamins C and groups B, P, A, E, PP, K. “Minerals include potassium, manganese, calcium, phosphorus, iron, molybdenum. Parsley root improves digestion, strengthens the gums, normalizes digestion, helps reduce swelling, ”Yablonskaya emphasized.
