The price of the dollar in Mexico operates downward in the early hours of Tuesday, while the markets await new data from the Federal Reserve (fed) on the interest rates of USA.
The exchange rate is listed at 17,136 pesos per dollar, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
At a general level, the expectations for the mexican economy have improved, driven by the first quarter result, which was above expectations. National and international organizations expect growth of between 1.5 and 3% for this year.
Of the international organizations, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is the one with the highest projection, at 2.6%.
While of the local institutions, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) is the most optimistic and expects growth of 3%.

Wall Street it fell the day before, weighed down by technology, while in a not very active market the Dow Jones tried to stabilize after several sessions of declines.
Wall Street was affected by the uncertainty generated by the rebellion of Russian mercenaries and its implications for the future of President Vladimir Putin. Although Putin thanked the fighters for their withdrawal to avoid bloodshed, the State Department of USA noted that the situation in Russia is still uncertain.
This climate of uncertainty hit growth-linked stocks particularly hard, with the likes of Meta Platforms Inc, Alphabet Inc and Tesla Inc posting sharp falls.
