Putin will sign agreements on the inclusion of new territories in Russia on September 30. The signing ceremony of the agreements on joining the former territories of Ukraine to Russia will be held in the Georgievsky Hall of the Kremlin.
Tomorrow at 15:00 in the Kremlin, agreements will be signed on the entry of new territories into Russia, Dmitry Peskov told reporters, RBC reports.
According to him, the president will meet with the heads of the new territories at the ceremony in St. George’s Hall.
The presidential address to the Federal Assembly will take place later, the Kremlin will announce its date later.
Referendums on the issue of joining Russia were held on the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russian troops from 23 to 27 September. In the LPR – 98.42% of those who came to the polling stations voted for joining Russia, in the DPR – 99.23%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in Zaporozhye – 93.11%.
After the completion of the referenda, the heads of all the territories officially turned to Vladimir Putin with a request to include them in Russia. On September 28, the heads of the territories arrived in Moscow to complete the paperwork.
