The world community is obliged to put pressure on Russia. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his Telegram channel.
“The world must put pressure on Russia until the international order is restored,” Zelensky said.
He added that he had spoken with US President Joseph Biden the day before. Zelensky called the conversation with the head of the White House positive and inspiring. They discussed developments in Russia, the fighting in Ukraine and further American assistance to Kyiv, the White House said in a statement. The issue of increasing the protection of the Ukrainian sky was also touched upon.
Zelensky added that only 15 days are left before the NATO summit in Vilnius, and the Kyiv authorities are doing everything to make this event have a real content. “Decisions positive for Ukraine in Vilnius are the only possible positive solutions for our common security in Europe and in the Alliance as a whole,” Zelensky added.
Earlier, Zelensky demanded that the West supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with even more military equipment.
