Russian leader Vladimir Putin held telephone conversations with the presidents of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Alexander Lukashenko, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
“The president informed his interlocutors about the situation,” Peskov said, quoted by Interfax.
“The President of Russia called the President of Belarus this morning, a telephone conversation took place. Vladimir Putin informed his Belarusian counterpart about the situation in Russia,” the press service of the Belarusian leader said. At the same time, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan reported that during the conversation Tokayev noted that “the ongoing events are an internal affair of Russia,” and Putin, in response, “thanked Kazakhstan for showing understanding of the current situation in the Russian Federation.”
Recall that earlier in Moscow, the Moscow and Voronezh regions introduced the CTO regime. In several regions of Russia, security measures have been strengthened and mass events have been canceled.
