Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on the exchange of personal data of citizens, the press service of the Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov reports.
According to the agreement, states can exchange data: on identity documents; on the presence or absence of citizenship of the countries participating in the agreement; on the availability of documents giving the right to permanent or temporary residence; on migration registration or registration at the place of residence; on the issuance of visas giving the right to enter the territory of the parties to the agreement; on real estate of citizens; about property obligations; on bringing a person to administrative or criminal liability.
The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. Russian President Vladimir Putin ratified the treaty back in November 2021, and Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in April 2022. The document will enter into force 30 days after Kyrgyzstan completes the “domestic procedures” necessary for the functioning of the treaty.
