Ice cream is the most popular summer dessert, but not all types are created equal. In an interview with Gazeta.Ru, gastroenterologist Ekaterina Kashukh recommended paying attention to the ingredients in the product.

For example, a delicacy with all kinds of fillers is best consumed less often, especially if there is a tendency to allergies. It is very high in calories and contains many additives.

So, one of the most popular types of ice cream is ice cream. However, it is worth remembering that this delicacy contains a lot of calories: 400-500 kcal per 100 grams of product.

According to Kashukh, such ice cream should contain at least 12% milk fat. Moreover, if the weight is normal, then a serving of ice cream (80 g) once a day will not hurt.

The doctor noted that fruit ice is one of the lowest-calorie cold desserts. It contains only about 110-130 kcal per 100 g, is rich in vitamins and quenches thirst well in the heat. “It is optimal if the composition contains natural fruit juice or fruit puree, a minimum of dyes and flavor enhancers,” said the gastroenterologist.
