A study by scientists at the University of Vermont has for the first time established a direct link between a person’s eye color and the risk of alcohol addiction. According to Dr. Peter, scientists have been working for several years to create a database of patients with mental disorders. As a result, about 10 thousand case histories were processed.
The database also includes people with addictions – drugs and alcohol.
Scientists, compiling a database on mental disorders, noticed that the brighter a person’s eyes, the more likely they are to abuse alcohol and become addicted to alcohol in general. The researchers checked their findings three times to be sure. In addition, they were convinced that the reverse rule also works: people with brown eyes are less likely to be alcoholics.
But people with green and gray eyes are also at risk. They have a higher chance of becoming an alcoholic, almost like blue-eyed and blue-eyed people.
At the same time, experts emphasize that in no case should one diagnose only by the color of the eyes and accuse a person of addictions, because the reasons for such a relationship are not yet clear.
