“The contribution of the experts (prosecutor, criminal technician and civil investigator) will allow us to continue with an objective and transparent process,” said the Prosecutor’s Office in a statement published on social networks at 10:28 p.m.

The remains of María Belén Bernal were veiled this Thursday, September 22. For this reason, a burning chapel was installed in the theater of the Central University of Ecuador (UCE).

The lifeless body of the lawyer was found on Wednesday on the Casitagua hill, in the extreme north of Quito. The discovery took place after eleven days of the disappearance of her, the 11 of September.
