Prices for a number of popular car parts in Russia jumped by 45-65% at once, Autonews.ru reports.
As the portal notes, it’s all about the shortage: due to the departure or freezing of the work of some automakers and suppliers from Russia, it is necessary to bring alternatives under the parallel import scheme through several intermediaries.
“Sellers are importing spare parts to Russia in small batches so far. These are both original and alternative parts,” said Alexey Pevkhenen, director of ADAK. – Sellers try to bring the maximum possible number of components. But deliveries are unstable: brought, sold – again the deficit. But compared to what happened in May-June, when almost no one imported anything at all, we see that the market is gradually filling up.”
Recall that at the end of May it became known that sales of spare parts for cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles began in Russia, which were brought into the country without the consent of the copyright holders. As part of parallel imports, auto parts from Asia, the CIS, and European countries now enter the Russian market. This was reported by the company Wildberries.
Online retail began to sell engines, fuel systems, transmissions, electrical equipment, parts for the running system, steering and other components for vehicles in the Russian Federation. At the same time, delivery of car parts can be ordered not only to Russia, but also to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
